Surface Experimentation | Sculptural Garments
Phobia is an experimental textile project exploring fear through texture, surface, and material transformation. Using layered fabrics, unconventional materials, and surface manipulations, the work visualizes how fear forms, accumulates, and intensifies over time. Each textile swatch acts as a tactile expression of emotion, translating psychological states into physical surfaces. Through draping and garment development, these textures move from abstract experimentation to embodied form, examining how emotion can be worn, felt, and physically experienced.
